Geologic services are provided for both placer gold and hard rock lode prospects across the state of Alaska and abroad. Recent work includes projects in Fairbanks and Nome Mining Districts, the Brooks Range, the Alaska Range, Arizona, Colorado, Tanzania, Columbia, and Chile. Metallogeny, Inc. provides management and staffing of all phases of placer and lode exploration. This includes claim staking and claim maintenance, initial reconnaissance, soil and rock sampling programs, permitting, GIS services, and management of RC, Sonic, and Core drilling programs. OUR SERVICES
SOIL SAMPLING
Prior to drilling, MI employees travel to remote areas to collect smaller samples for analysis. One of the tools utilized is the two-person auger. The simple machine manned by two people bores into the soil creating one sample at a time.
RC AND CORE DRILLING
The Reverse Circulation (RC) Drilling method utilizes a large rotary drill and air compressor to collect rock samples quickly and efficiently. The high speed and low cost of RC drilling makes it an ideal method for obtaining mineral samples in the early phases of an exploration project.
PLACER GOLD EXPLORATION
MI provides placer gold exploration services. This includes managing gold exploration projects, processing bulk samples, reducing concentrates for determining gold content, and resource estimations.
CLAIMSTAKING
Metallogeny, Inc. provides claimstaking services to remote regions of Alaska.
RECLAMATION
Post project, Metallogeny, Inc. provides reclamation services to return the vegetation to its natural state.
